Passive Income Course – Live Video Streaming Lesson
Q, How important is Live Video Streaming for building a business
A. For most people, YouTube is the go-to starting point for posting informational and marketing videos. That however is changing. Facebook may be playing catchup but they are getting good at it. Especially through Facebook Live, a type of live media.
Live Video Streaming
In the field of social media, the term "live media" refers to new media that use streaming media technologies. These technologies are essential for creating networks of live multimedia that may be shared among people, companies, and organizations.
Livestreaming is a very low-cost communication and marketing tool that enables individuals and organizations to connect to their online audience. Users can follow their friends' live video "shares" as well as "shares" related to specific content, products, or items.
Live media may be shared through any Internet website or application; thus, when people browse on a specific website, they may find live media streams relevant to the content they look for.
Live media can include coverage of various events such as concerts or live news coverage viewed using a web browser or apps such as Snapchat. For Affiliate Marketers and students of passive income systems, Facebook Live has become extremely popular since these Live Streams can be fed and linked into groups and forums.
Here are some key elements of Live Streaming on Facebook.
Streams appear on the News Feed, or on business pages and users can comment on them in real-time.
Live broadcasts are automatically saved as a video post to the streamer's page.
Facebook’s live-streaming API allows developers to use any device, including professional video cameras and drones, to integrate with the live-video streaming platform.
Facebook allows its mobile app to provide a dedicated section for showcasing current and recent live broadcasts.
The service allows two users Livestream together.
Facebook offers closed captioning to live video. At this time (2016) This is limited to the CEA-608 standard, a notable difference from the automatic closed captioning available for Page videos that are recorded and then uploaded, due to difficulties in adapting the same standard at scale on the low-latency real-time nature for live content.
Facebook Live offers support for live streaming Facebook Messenger games.
Challenges, Constraints, and Obstacles
One of the key assumptions in the Life Strategies Playbook & Mentoring Program is that the solution to every problem is usually the portal to another and possibly a more complex problem. That was surely the case with Facebook Live Streaming
Since 2017 Facebook Live has been used by the perpetrators of various horrendous crimes including mass killings, and racist acts of violence. Because of this, Facebook added restrictions on the service and added a number of steps that made creating Live Streamed Videos more difficult.
One of the ways ethical providers were able to make the process of posting live videos was through new technologies. There are many Livestreaming services. The one I and my peers’ use is StreamYard.com
StreamYard enables my team and I to post live streams video throughout the social network. This app works with three things in mind.
ease of use
stability
professional-looking streams
the beginning program is free
StreamYard makes streaming fun. We use it to quickly create engaging content with guests, show on-screen comments, and brand your broadcasts with themes, overlays, and backgrounds. You don’t need to know anything about technology or streaming to get started. And even though StreamYard is simple, techy folks love how powerful it is under the hood, and how effective it is for streaming group discussions.
Takeaway
As part of an Organic SEO Strategy for building your e-mail list, and as part of an organic sales funnel, including offering content that can redirect your FB followers into niche groups Live Streams are an invaluable tool
